I bought a Sealine-x surf model slx s1132XHRB 11'3 8-10 oz from mud last week and am thinking about pairing it with a Saltist SST30H. Sound like a good match?

It'll work but my personal preference for a rod of that size would be to go with the 20H loaded with 17lb line. The 20 is smaller and lighter and that pairing should be a great 6Nbait outfit that'll still do 8Nbait if it has to. Like I say though, it's a matter of personal preference. If this is going to be your only rod, maybe the 30 would be better for the added capacity.

I kinda agree with the choice of the 30 size. I personally don't like the 30's because I have small hands and the 20's and Abu's are morre comfertable to use.
