I'll be using them on graphite 6-17# Yak rods, throwing up to 1.5oz tins, but mostly the lighter stuff, 3/8 to 3/4, 15 or 20# braid for capacity when the Kings come back. The 40a at 11.2 is only 1.1 oz heavier, but the retrieve is 3in less at 28" compaired to 31" for the highspeed 30, but the capacity is way more for the 40 300yds of 20#, vs 300yds of 15 for the 30.
Will the 1 oz make that much of a difference? Will the 3" more retrieve make that much difference in the speed of retrieve? Which one would you choose and why?
