What an idiot. He's running again?? Give me a break. No one likes you, no one is going to vote for you, and it's not like you really bring anything to the table anyway. Just go and hug a tree or something.:rolleyes:

I happen to know that Ralph is monitoring this forum so that he can take down our names and hold us accountable when he's elected for all those poor fish that we kill so that we can eat! We will be taxed on those fish at a rate of 40% of the store value plus a 20% pleasure tax for catching them!

i mean well he has no chance to win. Just like 4 years ago. I mean the popular vote for the president was that close.... Ok so he has money and he wants to be in the debate. its not going to work.

My theory is he is taking votes away from someone else. Yeah they are votes for either a democrat or republican. GW knew that and encouraged people to vote for Nader. He knew that people on the Gore fence would lean to Nader an either way, one vote closer to him winning.

From the looks of the democratic ballot, it might be another tight race between the red and blue states. But there won't be a Green one!

Nader. For the love of god, Drop out. Hell if you want to make a speech, do so, and if you have some cash to blow, how about tossing some my way, or maybe cleaning up the chesapeake.

or maybe cleaning up the chesapeake.

WOULD NOT be a waste of money, hence why he is doing this instead.

He suxs.... a trouble maker and idiot. He complains about Bush and yet totally denies that he affected the 2000 election. A first class jerk.

Any truth to the rumor that his campaign vehicle is going to be a Green Corvair and the press corps will follow in a Ford Pinto?

Forget Nader I will take the covair that would be a nice collectors item. He is a waste of time and money,

When he was teaching didn't he spend alot of time talking about horse and buggy whips? I think those whips have more utility than he does.

Do the math: Had Gore won Florida in 2000, he would have been president. After the recount, Bush won by only 532 votes in that state. Nader got 95,000 Florida votes. Polls indicate that about 2/3 of Nader voters would have voted for Gore had Nader not been on the ballot. So I think that the Republican National Committe may be sponsoring Nader's campaign!

Doggfish.... no further debate is needed. Exactly on point, yet he sits there in obstinance and denies these immutable FACTS.

I voted for him in 2000. At that time, I wasn't thrilled with either major party and their candidate. I was also in Virginia, which went red by a large majority. I was hoping for a viable third party back then.

Take it easy, exhale, everybody!...don't let anger make a fool of yourself.
Remember, Nader ran again in 2004 but had little impact on the race. Why Nader called it a candidacy for President? Because he concludes that, during a presidential election, the media pay more attention to things that are being said by candidates. He's running to draw attention to issues ignored by the major candidates in both parties: corporate crime, worker rights, military spending and foreign policy...etc.
So, he runs, he speaks, he gets attention to his issues, and hardly anybody votes for him in 2004, so who cares? Why fear of his political presence?
Since Hillary will no longer be a threat to the republicans or democrats, who else can screw up both parties? Nader? What's a joke.
Nader did not cost Gore the election in 2000, Gore was poor candidate run a poor campaign (remember Gore couldn't carry his home state!), the race in 2000 was decided by a razor thin in Florida (500+ votes).
People still will vote for Nader because the two-party system really sucks, The Dems and Repubs mouth off about their differences but they protect each other, nothing will change, either you can vote for D or R, and get the same result, "old boy network" politics as usual type stuff. Every vote he gets is a vote the Democratic Party lost due to decades of center-right corporate friendly policies.
People are very tired of voting the "lesser of two evils" way, any serious threats from a third party would not sit well with these greedy politicians.
Nader is good for Democracy and will hold the other candidate's feet to the fire. He was not the spoiler in 2000. Bush was
Nader is Consumer activist and provides this country a great service so far.
