Southern California Fishing Help!

Last minute business trip is taking me near Hunington Beach area. I'm actually staying near Ontario, CA.

Any fishing advices would be greatly appreciated. I will be taking my 7' travel rod.

I will have mornings as free time. thanks!

used to live by beach blvd, if you take beach blvd all the way towards the ocean it's huntington. never fished there.however, there are piers there and a bunch of people you can't see the water.
