Early season at Assateague, which rig is preferreed, and why? On a Hi-Low rig, is one hook used? One hook with with a long leader? How long of a leader? Same or different rig for bluefish/stripers? I have used them all--need additional input with results. Thanks...

Me personally, I like a fish finder with about 2-4 inch leader 80lb test. The short leader helps get distance on the cast. 10/0-14/0 Circle hook and a bunker head or chunk.

is called a high low rig cause it has one hook high and one hook low

Depends what you are wanting to catch as to what kind of a rig you use .... Blues .. then a high/lo ... panfish Hi/lo ... something bigger then It's a FF rig
