Do any of you guys/gals use these reels?

I have a couple of these and like them alot, but do not care much for the drag washers.

Does anyone know where to get some decent drag washer for these, or are they worth the time and money for a modification?

There are all kinds of "upgrade" drag washers available for Abus, but...

The stock washer stack can be smoothed up a great deal by removal and a good cleaning with Zippo Fliud. Be sure to remove all residue, and put 'em back in DRY.

I like the ones I have they cast great. I only use them for smaller fish so the stronger drags really don’t matter to me. But I do want to change one from a level wind to a non level wind but I want to do it the cheaper way with the conversion bar kit and not changing out the frame way.
