lookin to get a real good lite inshore spinning rod to fish in the ches-bay,lite enough for croakers to powerful enough for stripers. here are some of my choices..
1) 6 1/2 to 7 ft MH lite inshore uglystik $44.00
2) 6 1/2 ft MH tiger-lite uglystik $59.00
3) 7 ft MH shimano teramar $99.00
4) my extreme choice 6 1/2 ft M-MH shimano Trevala $99.00.

Try Shimano carbomax 7ft.er m/h 1/4-1 oz. I love mine.. It would be perfect for what you need..

i tell you what those trevala rods are sweet fished with one in key west over spring break awsome action and light they worked great on grouper and snappers

6' 6" mh rod rated 50-100lb braided line. should be the same one you mentioned. it was my grandfathers friends that i used when we went out on there boat.

Check out the Tsunami Airwave inshore rods. They are strong, have Fuji alconite guides and Fuji reel seat. They have em in the 6'6", 7' and a 7'6" in diffrent power levels.
They are a great rod for the money.

Big papa the Teramar is a great rod. I have 2 great for big Reds and Kings.
