I know they’re both very similar in quality one being a little stiffer than the other but which one of the two is best suited for Saltwater Bait Casting? I was wondering if anybody has used or compared the two lines for performance that could shed some light on the subject. I’ve already ordered a 1lb spool of 17lb DNA Pro Mix because I believe it will outperform the Tritanium Plus do to its less memory advantage. My question is has anybody evaluated the two lines side by side and drawn their own conclusion.

I just bought some pro-mix off of Ebay for .99 cents (725 yds of 25 lb test). Once I get it in I'll spool some up and let you know what I think. I've used the Tri and Siege, and really love the Seige. It sounds almost like the pro-mix blends the two together in the description. The ads say tough like tri and no memory like the seige. Should be interesting, but for 99 cents, not much invested.

I use both.

The ProMix (formerly known as DNA) is not as abrasion resistant as Tri-plus. It is more limp and great on a spinner (color selection sux though, I use the lemon green).

As for baitcasting on conventional, I would go with Tri-plus (I use it on my 525's).

my 2 cents..
