I need a good all around spinning rod and reel for inshore fishing in creeks and inlets for reds, trout, and snook.I've looked at the Cabos, stradics, slammers and various Daiwas.I'd be willing to spend $350 or maybe $400 for the setup. But if there is a setup for less then that would be great also. Thanks for the help.

Team Daiwa Teirra 4000 and Tsunami Air Wave in 9' or 10'. You can get the set up for $200.00 new

I keep admiring the Cabos. They appear to be a solid reel. The price is close to the Stradics since Shimano has raised the price of the Stradic. How do they compare?(Cabo vs Stradic).

Steve, I've never owned a Quantum reel.
However, the new Stradic is the best spinning reel I've ever owned.
That reel has caused me to switch over from Daiwa spinners.

I have 2 Stradics I use in freshwater and they are great reels.I was just wondering if the Cabos were better.
