I am having a hard time finding a certain kind of jighead and am not able to pur my own so maybe some of you can lead me in the right direction. I need a jighead in 1/16 or 1/8 oz. ball jig with collar and barb but I need a strong hook. I have been using Bite-Me shaky heads for bass fishing b/c they have a Gami heavy wire Blk nickle hook. But at $4 for 4 or 5 isn't very cost effective where I am fishing. You loose tons of rigs but its part of fishing below a dam. The plastics we use are small 2-3 inches with small baitfish profile. Its more just about something flashing by them in the current and they react. And yes I am talking about stripers up to 40 inches. its kind of a weird very soecific kind of fishing. If anyone can steer me to a good jig head would be great.
