Squid!!!!!!!

I always get a big squid from a local market here the day before I go to the banks. The q???. Has anybody ever tried the tentacles for spot, etc? They are not only tough but last forever. Have even thought about dyeing them to look like blood worms but figure that's wasted motion. Should make a fine flounder bait with 4/5 hooked on a 3/0 kahle. Just curious what ya'll have fond out. wdbrand.

if its little fish like spot your looking for the tentacles work great,just snap em close to the head and the just stick it into the hook by the part you snapped and it will end up in the shape of a hook but made out of squid, works like magic! dont know for spot but down here its a frenzy with grunts! dont know if the tntacles will work for flounder though you might need a bigger parts, the tail works great too, just cut it right on top of the two little flaps it has on it(maybe a flounder will hit that)!

Croakers and Blues will tear up the tentacles.

No Sir. I use the whole thing. I even keep the eggs and that red pasty lookin stuff in the bigger ones for my chum.
