Fished out of Carolina Beach this weekend at Yaupon Reef, caught two flounder and two nice grey trout, then the blues ate all our finger mullet so we decided to try and catch some of the spanish that were feeding on the other side of the reef. Caught them on these jigs that looked just like the glass minnows the spanish were eating. Adam (who we were fishing with) said they were meria (??unsure how to spell it) jigs and they were made by a japanese company. Has anyone ever heard of them and know where I can get some? They were dynamite, especially since its really hard to get spanish to bite on when they are feeding on those small glass minnows, these things looked just like them.

Never heard of them. I did a Google search and NADA. Perhaps you can be a little more specific.
