That's exactly what we have in Daytona. I don't go during te day because of the tourists and other swimmers. Early morning or after 7PM when the beach is closed to traffic. I use 2 or 3 rods and vary the casting distance and bait...usually frozen or fresh dead shrimp and finger mullet. If I have a 3rd rod, it goes out with a chunk of blue, whiting, etc. for toothies. As was shown in the one illustration, there are "runouts" here (normally called "rip currents" by the lifeguards) and if you can het one of those, you're usually going to catch something. If you are there for 45 minutes or so and nothing is happening, then MOVE North or South until you do get a hit.

I agree, keep on the move. If you don't catch anything within 45 minutes in one spot, rarely does it change. Look at the surf at low tide. If you notice anything fishable then head there and try, there should be fish around.
