I've heard it said that no U.S. president has visited a host country before the Olympics. This is an intriging point given recent issues. Any information to confirm or invalidate this news statement?

We should not have participated in this olympics.

China is nothing more than a new USSR.

I wish no ill on the average Joe in China, but the Gov't is worse than evil.

mix the Olympics with Politics.

Maybe that is why no U.S. President has visited a host country before the start of the Games.

Man what a spectacular show last night!!! I loved it all except for the idiot commentary, definately could've left it all open for interperatation. Oh well, what are you going to do.

I agree let them play. Why argue politics during the games. These guys and gals earned the right to participate and why take it away from them.
We will always be arguing about politics but they only have a few days for the games. Politics should not enter into it at all.

Not only that, but it's where those calories come from. If I ate what he ate, I'd have to go back for bypass surgery once a week!!!
