Guys;

If your like me, you have always had a problem untangling snelled hooks. I was putting them in small freezer bags which helped some but if you had over 3-4 in the bag then you end up with a bird's next:mad::mad:

Then it hit me:D, roll a small piece of Play Dough into a ball and press the point of the hook into the ball. This leaves the line with/without a bead dangling away from the ball:D

To get a hook, all you do is pull the hook out the play dough ball with no tangles:cool::cool:

This year,I began using about a 1 foot section of pool noodle. I put 3 rubberbands on the noodle...

I take snelled hooks and hook them in the end of the noodle...then bring the line down and tuck the end under a rubberband...this easily holds 10 + snells with no tangles...

I use the other side of the noodle to wrap longer rigs around the noodle...just hook the circle hook, etc. in the foam, wrap a few times around the noodle and then tuck the barrel swivel under a rubberband... + side is that this rig floats too.

Mark;

I have heard of that method and will try it.

But I keep my snells, rigs etc in a zippered Cabella binder note book and the noodle would not fit.

The play dough does fit and it never dries out in the plastic binder baggies in the note book.

Learned this 50 yrs ago as a kid. Put the hook end, and bury it in a cork. Use a baggy twirl around the lines, put this is a Ziplock bag.

It works great and is simple...
