I don't know if this thread has shown up before (not been here long), but I am just curious what pets folks on the board have.

We have a dachshund that was rescued from an abused animal shelter in Rome, Georgia. He is four now, and he is spoiled rotten.

I ask this because of the post Jet made over on the "Names" thread and because I have been guilty of saying that "Crabman" (our dog's name, from my favorite character on "My Name is Earl") is stupid. He isn't that stupid. He just refused to eat a bite of a bagel because it didn't have cream cheese on it! Wife put cream cheese on it, and he attacked!

So do you all have pets, and if so are they as spoiled as this one? :)

I have pet tuna, mahi, wahoo, and marlin.. It's been a few weeks since I've fed them, so I hope their hungry during the tournament this weekend!!:fishing::D

Nah, no pets here anymore. Used to have a yellow lab, and he was definitely spoiled rotten. I think it will be a while before I get another dog.

Just in case anyone wonders, my Bro and sis-in-law and kids and I were standing outside and he started trying to lick through the glass. He loves people, oh yeah Lab/pitt mix.

Spoiled? No, he just has trained his owner that every time he wants a treat he goes to the door, goes out, comes back in and gets a dog bone...:rolleyes:

We have an ungrateful cat that we rescued from the ASPCA. But now that I think about it, most cats are ungrateful.:)

I made a Koi pond in my backyard and I use them to try my new lure techniques. It just isn't the same.:fishing:

Two dogs, boxer/black lab and pure yellow, hamster ,3 fish tanks, south american chiclids, african chiclids, fresh water tropical and oh yeah Boss Dogg!!!!:eek::eek:;):D

Have a little beagle pup, she's about 11 months old. She's not too spoiled, gonna see if she'll trail deer this season if all goes well.

Just lost my dads yellow lab to cancer a few weeks ago. She wasn't but 6 or 7.

English blockhead Chocolate lab... Named Jingle...... and a Red chuwawa.."Pussyboy" Named Spippy..

The Chuwawa is the old lady's dog... I love my big boy lab...



Also 2 stupid cockatiels, Tuppy and petey, 1 donosaur bicher, Deano..1 yellow african cichlid, Yeller feller , 1 freshwater grouper, Scooter, 1 pleco No name.

Currently we have 2 Bernese Mountain Dogs and 3 Cats. We also foster for lostdogrescue.org. So from time to time we have another dog with us. The last foster we had was actually pregnant when we got her...So we had 9 dogs in the house for a while...even though 6 were puppies :)

Female..Half lab and half shepherd just turned 18 years old.. Her sister went 9 months ago and we keep an eye on her all the time.

We now have just 1 dog and 5 cats, had to put my Maine Coon cat down 2 weeks ago.

We did have 9 cats and 5 dogs at one time, and all house pets.

one Silky Terrier that is a nut .... he goes by the name of Toby when he wants too but he's my bud but the Mrs dog ... 4 years old

One .5 pomerian .5 cocker spaniel female named Airy like the little mermaid ... she's somewhere around 12 years old

one kitty named Snoopy that's 8

and two fish tanks .... a 72 gal with 2 south american chicalids (Mating Pair) ... named Jack and Jill ... 5 years old with a choclate pleco and a catfish ... the 40gal with a pair of Firemouths 3 cory cats and a clown Pleco

a chocolate lab..his name....is ZEB....

and for some reason..he catches big toads at night...holds them in his mouth for a minute or two, then spits them out, and will go lay down and stare into space..mouth foaming like hell....


who knows....he is strange. sometimes he will lay in the yard in the middle of the day, roll over on his back, and star into the sun LOL

As my wife and I describe it, we have three rats, three brats, and a cat. (rat terriers, and yes they are spoiled!

1 dog - 1/2 bluetick coonhound, 1/2 beagle. Interesting looking critter as he is very blue, but absolutely STUPID, as in no brain at all.

1 cool cat.

We've got quite the interesting situation now... a cat, a dog (chihuahua pup), and two rats... The rats want to eat the cat, and the cat wants to eat the dog... it's pretty amusing.

HEHEHE Yeah, that sounds funny. Maybe you should sit them all down and discuss the "natural order of things." :-)
