After a LONG absence without NEWSPAPERS or TV, I return and find that GEORGIA is being ATTACKED by RUSSIA! After much THOUGHT and LIQUID REFRESHMENT, I can come up with only ONE SOLUTION!!Surely, the Ruskies are TICKED at TED TURNER!!!CNN has gone TOO FAR!!!So they are attacking ATLANTA! Well, this being the first FOREIGN ATTACK on the PEACHTREE STATE since SHERMAN, the question is,WHAT IS THE CONFEDERACY (I mean the adjoining SOUTHERN STATES,beg pardon) going to do about it? I intend to go to the State Capitiol and VOLUNTEER to lead our BOYS IN GRAY against the RUSSIAN HORDE! I will place before the LEGISLATURE a BILL promising to SUPPORT GEORGIA IN HER HOUR OF NEED, even going so far as to SUCEED FROM THE UNION!!! (By the way, do you suppose the CANNONS at FORT SUMTER still work?) Be that as it maybe, it is OBVIOUS that a SOUTHERN STATE needs YOU TODAY!!! LOOK AWAY,DIXIE LAMB!!!
