Who's even!
I don't know about anyone else, but I AM READY FOR ME SOME COLLEGE FOOTBALL RIGHT ABOUT NOW!!!! I am wondering if I'll be the only one who ISN'T watching the DNC tomorrow night?!?! For the past couple of nights, I've been popping in X-Files DVD's, rather than watching the circus. (It's a Scully thing, I guess.) :)
Are there any college football fans out there who (like me) are READY?!?!?! :)
I have only been here since May, and I don't know the answer to this, but do any of the P&S folks do weekly football picks/predictions here in the lounge just for fun?

I'm ready for some college football! Fresno State! Fresno State! :D
BTW congratulations to the Fresno State baseball team for winning the College World Series!!!! :)
Yes, they do play in the wacky WAC conference. But they try to schedule some solid BCS programs in non conference. In fact, Fresno has more wins against BCS schools than any other non BCS program. That reputation is making it difficult to find major conference opponents willing to play them, especially at home. Wisconsin will become the 1st Big Ten team to ever play in Fresno on 9/13.
I don't get to see them much anymore, living on the east coast, but they will be on ESPN/ESPN2 several times this year. :)

Hey oldsalt,
UGA really suffered a key loss on the DT Saturday with Owens going down. It'll be interesting to see how they make it through the SEC. Carolina always gets up for that game, and it's right around the corner. I think it's very possible that a team wins the SEC East with 2 conference losses again. I'm kind of glad Tennessee is flying under the radar right now (with most folks picking them third in the East). It should be a fun year.

I really enjoyed watching that Fresno St baseball team win the series. I think they were the biggest longshot to ever win a collegiate championship in any sport.
You can pick up your boys +5.5 pts for the game vs. Rutgers today.
Sooners fan myself.
Really looking forward to the ohio st/usc game too. Great time of year.
