Here's a good article on why the bailout won't work. It's like my parents told me. "When you realize you're in a hole, stop digging."

My other favorite was "It doesn't matter how hard you try. You can't borrow your way out of debt."

Our government is so far removed from understanding basic financial principles that it isn't even funny. I fell like I've been watching a really bad infomercial about getting rich using "Other People's Money" for the past couple of weeks.

In this case the "other People's Money" the government wants to use belongs to you and me. :--|

I have a friend that has
4 or 5 credit cards and keeps borrowing from one to keep the other up to date. I keep asking how he is going to get ahead that way.
He is now going to go to one of the "credit counselers" that advertise on t.v.
