Simply the system recapturing wealth from foreign investments, taking back our oil costs. However, some real blood letting for the average working stiff, that saved and invested his earnings. Hopefully some of this bailout proposal will be recovered and looses reduced for those investers that are getting creamed in their retirement and pensions.

Sell your stock in Bank of America if you have it. They will not fail but they will see big losses. Bank of America absorbed Countrywide who has so many bad home loans it isnt even funny. It will happen its just going to take a little bit of time.

Things are going to get alot worse before they begin to get better!

It wasn't all that long ago if my memory serves me that the U.S. was dumping a fortune into Russia trying to help them start up a free market economy. Look at all the oil reserves that they can access now thanks to U.S. technology and money! On top of all that, aside from China, Russia is probably our biggest creditor. Our economy is so screwed!

BK OF AMERICA CP(NYSE: BAC)
NEW Real-time: 21.71 2.06 (8.67%) 10:44am ET 10/8

From $36 to $21 in five days. I thought it would take more in 5 days though.

It will go lower when the shet hits the fan

I'm loving it !! Sorry for those invested in B of A, but they got under my skin recently and I pulled all business from them, shutting down 2 lines of credit, as well as my regular banking business- checking/savings, etc.

I feel ya Bro!. I to was frustrated with them. Opening up mutiple business accounts to insure FDIC coverage and they had no idea how to do it properly or in a manner which was accepted by the FDIC. I had to explain it to them.

And that was upper management.

But, They are one of the most stable and safest Banks in America

I closed out all my accounts/business with them when they did their "illegal alien" thing!!!
