I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this yet, but here's a "youtube" link to the video. This was, I think, Wednesday night. Quite funny, actually. You be the judge.

I saw that this morning. O'Reilly is a nut job at times , but that was funny. :)

Franq did in fact tell the nation on public TV that the market would be safe in the coming months.

Nice touch putting the "q" at the end of the name, there Sprts. Even if it was a typo, which I doubt, that's hilarious man. Why not hyphenate it, though? Fran-q. :D I saw that when it first aired and laughed my a$$ off. Old Stonewall looks like he's spitting all over the place when he gets "flustered." That's one time people definitely need to keep their distance. I don't remember what night it was. It might have been Wedesday (I think you're right). I told my wife I could not believe that the folks up there keep reelecting this q-lown.

Funny, that's what he said 2 years ago when people started predicting the current financial crisis was coming, and trying to do something to stop it.

Trust me, the "Q" was not a typo, LOL!!! And you know what I mean:D

O'Reilly was over the top, but Frank got what he deserved. Barney Frank & Chris Dodd have continually blocked legislation to create more oversight of Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac for years. Pres Bush tried in 2003, & McCain in 2005, plus other times, warning of the danger to our economy they posed by buying & "insuring" sub-prime mortgages. Frank continually said there was NO problem with Fannie Mae. It was sound, & no more regulation was needed, etc. They favored continuation of the so-called Community Reinvestment Act, which forced banks to loan money to people with questionable credit, who couldn't afford the homes they were buying, and were dead set AGAINST reasonable lending standards that banks had followed for years. A friend who admittedly didn't understand the current crisis said to me, "Well, why the hell were they loaning money to people who couldn't to pay it back???" The answer is because of regulation IMPOSED on the banks by the Democrats, which essentially said that if you don't make these questionable loans we will take you to court for discrimination and prevent you from merging, acquiring other banks, or growing your business. And also demonstrations inside local bank offices by ACORN & others, screaming "discrimination" and threatening law suits. Of course, many mortgage lenders were willing accomplices in this scam. Republicans are also at fault for going along. What kills me is that Frank Raines, head of Fannie Mae, scammed off some $90 million dollars during the 6-7 years he was there by cooking the books to make it appear that Fannie was making huge profits, and justifying his huge bonuses. Remember the CEO's from Worldcom & Enron? They are in jail now, which is where Raines belongs. And that left-wing moron Maxine Waters, during the last congressional hearing, was PRAISING Raines for the wonderful job he had done. And as usual, the MSM is more concerned with Palin's wink at the audience or her kid, than explaining the present financial crisis. If enough Americans are fooled enough to vote for Obama, who's ONLY accomplishment is promoting his own career and wealth by going along, getting along, and associating with people who hate America, then I guess we will get the govt we as a people deserve, with higher taxes, MUCH higher gas & energy costs, and less opportunity. I'm pissed because most of us DON'T deserve that. :--|

God I hate what is happening in the northeast! The people up there only want politicians who promise them all the freebies. Maine & Mass-a-two-shits especially.

It is embarrassing to go back to my home town in Maine these days. People intentionally faking injuries for workers compensation, and others acting crazy for free rent and monthly checks. People working just long enough to be able to draw unemployment.

Companies have been bailing outta those 2 states for the last 25 years because of politicians like Fran(Q) leading the attack against them, and the people feeding on the system that they provide for them.

I think it's the "pay as you go buffet" for the old stonewaller, isn't it? Of course, I guess technically you "pay" for all of it. :D

. . . .Mass-a-two-shits especially. . . .

^5 J. Oh man, I laughed so hard when I saw that I spewed soda. GOOD ONE. :D

Barny Fran(Q) today was telling the media that the main street backlash against Freddie Mac and Fanny Mae is racist!

Keep it up Democrats :)..... sooner or later, even your most ignorant will see you for what you really are.

Anyone else notice the little published fact that our friend Barney Frank also had a "boy friend" named Moss, if I recall correctly, employed by Fannie Mae, who received bennies from Barney (worth like $30-40K)? As for Racism, when someone wants to borrow a substantial amount of money, & if I am the lender & ask about their credit history, ability to pay, etc, if I am in the business of lending money, I don'tgive a rat's @ss whether the borrower is white, black, bronze, yellow, red or lavender. The only thing I care about is if I'm likely to get my money back. The charge of racism is PURE Bull Chit, and it's about time we call it what it is. The bottom line is: for years banks have been intimidated by the left wing, such as ACORN, Democrats, and others into making home loans to people who couldn't afford what they were buying and had no reasonable prospects of actually paying the mortgage, and this was aided and abetted by Obama and his left wing associates, in and out of congress. This is all public information. It's about time we all stopped listening to the left wing bull chit, and told them to stick their usual phony cries of "racism" where the sun don't shine.

Yeah, I heard that too, Blackbird. I heard it last night on one of the networks. It was probably on Fox, because I remember the commentator saying that if this had been a Republican that the mainstream media would have probably pounced on it.

For any in doubt as to the "objectiveness" of the MSM, check out this article-They report ONLY what helps Obama, and ignore or whitewash everything else. The bottom line is: If you want to pay higher taxes on income & higher prices on everything you buy, higher cap gains taxes, higher energy prices, whether for your gas or electricity, higher taxes on interest earned, higher taxes on your retirement income, higher Death taxes, etc, etc, and generally want to give more of your hard earned money to the govt to support whatever the latest social program of the day is, vote for Obama, and your dream will come true.
