This is why I cant get into MMA...."great" fight gets hyped between Kimberly Slice and The Shamrock...Sham gets a cut on his face, insert undercard opponent vs Slice...14 seconds later "fight" is over...Yeah, those 14 seconds were cool to see the raw agression, but 14 seconds is not worth the excitement generated..

yep, just watched it again in slow mo and real time. He may not have caught Kimbo square but it stunned him enough. Kina shows ya just how much hipe is behind good ole Kimbo.

I've seen kimbo get dropped in a couple of his street fights after a good jab to the chin. Any of the top UFC guys would eat this guy's lunch in less than 14 seconds.

i'm not sure why they would want to fix that fight. kimbo's loss will only hurt elite xc's orginazation. he's a money maker for them...i read that kimbo made $500,000 for that fight. thats nuts for being knocked out in 14sec. Petruzelli only made $50,000 and that was including a $15,000 win bonus.

I think what they may be looking for is if the opponent is able to defend himself. Didn't look like he was doing too good of a job at it. I'll watch it again, but I thought it might have been a kick that did him in?

It was not the Hit that knocked Kimbo down, it was a loss of footing. The punch was weak thats for sure. The reason the fight was stopped was that kimbo was having punches dropped down on him and he was making no effort to cover hit head or get up. You must continue to protect your self or the refs will call the fight.

Kimbo vs gannon was my favorite. It also goes to show kimbo isnt the big bad monster he is made out to be and his "crew" dont like him to loose, especially to a cop.... He even goes down in this one, a couple of times. Even gets a ref count down.....I say he lost this one.

As for the current fight i think the weak front foot kick blocked kimbos power punch and sent him off balance and forward, basically eating that jab. Might not have been strong but kimbo was in a forward motion. Thus adding to the power of the impact. Then like someone said before he didnt protect himself. He just kinda laid there. I have see fights called early and i dont think this is one of them.

The problem with Slice is he's not a good fighter. He's a guy who got popular posting videos of himself beating up homeless guys and somehow this got hyped into him being some superman. But look at all of his matches...were ANY of those guys good fighters? They all had losing records. The guy Slice was supposed to fight hadn't won in what, 4 years? So Slice's people try to get the announcer who hasn't even fought in years, and lost more then he had won when he did, to fight. He wasn't elligible, so they picked a guy who was considered so bad he was stuck in an untelivised match. Who, unfortunately for Slice, DID know how to fight. And popped him in his glass jaw.

Personally, I believe that Kimbo has the SOUL of a fighter. The main problem is the fact that his HEART isn't in it, and he doesn't have the training of a REAL fighter. Kimbo Slice is by no means a trained fighter, and his camp should have never accepted the fight. I believe Kimbo has a lot more in him than what you have seen. The problem is it takes years of work to learn how to be a fighter, not just a few fist fights, and some fan fare on the street. When Kimbo was put on his back, he didn't know what the hell to do! The reach of other guy was too much for him, even with the little girly strikes he was throwing. Then, after this one little win, this pink haired SOB calls out Tito Ortiz???? Has he completely lost his mind? After all, this is a man that was on the "Ultimate Fighter", now he wants to try Tito???? It's hilarious to me... Kimbo is not a pro fighter by any means, but he certainly doesn't have a glass jaw. My definition of a glass jaw is somebody that is so cocky, he slips up and is knocked out cold in one punch. I didn't see that in Kimbo, nor did I see him give up.... The fight was called. That being said, I hope Kimbo calls it quits or gets some serious training. In my opinion, it's a little late for him though because he's already, what, 32? However, I would LOVE to see that other kid take on Tito Ortiz!!!!!! TAKING ALL BETS,,, TAKING ALL BETS.................................. I need to think about it first, but I'll possibly throw out 2 to 1 on a pink hair boy/Tito fight.

Kimbo is getting serious training. He is training with Bas Ruten. Kimbo just sucks, plain and simple. It takes years to be a well rounded fighter. You can't just come out of the street and learn ju jitsu and muay thai in a couple months. Most of guys from UFC and other orgs have been training since they were little. Kimbo will continue to lose to good competition. All Kimbo is, is a big margeting campaign for elite xc.

It is under investigation now by the State for being fixed. Pink hair ran his mouth in interviews and now they are getting looked into
