I have only caught pups on cut mullet, and was wondering what you all use for them other than cut bait?

Redfish Majic, Gold Spoon caught some good ones back in Lynnhaven this year on the above lures. Have not tried bait for them

Hey jeep, I've used DOA Shrimp under a popping float and caught them. I've not used the Gulp shrimp that way, but others probably have. We used to wade out in some of the inlets and catch them on little silver Kastmaster spoons using lightweight gear. Dad told me once he used to catch them in Florida on a small Johnson silver minnow spoon (the weedless ones - I guess they still make those??), but I never tried that.

the gulp under a popping cork will work, DOA's, Wildeye Shrimp, Spoons - I prefer gold

Mirrolure 52MR worked well for me last year for pups and specks.

Ditto. Keep trying different colors until you start catching. I love them damn things. They're like crack for me as much as they are the fish! :p

Gulp swimming mullet in white (accidentally caught on while flounder fishing) or chartreuse. Also try the culp peeler crab.
