what size & types of hooks would you use for targeting sea bass:confused:

Kirby, 2 - 2/0 depending on the size fish you're catching...

2/0 owner mutu wire is what I use.

Depends. If it's little dinks that you'd have to wade through, I'll usually go with a 5/0 Octopus (to weed out most of the little ones). If the seabass are running mostly keeper sized, or if there are tog mixed in, I'll drop down to a 3/0 to get a shot at the tog as well. If its the mondo wintertime Virginia offshore seabass, 7/0 Octopus hooks work nicely. :)

I like the kale hook especially if you are wreck fishing. I’ve never gut hooked a sea bass with this hook. Works like a circle hook.
