I never quite looked at it this way, but a friend sent this to me and I thought I'd pass it along:

You couldn't get a job at McDonalds and become district manager after 143 days of experience.

You couldn't become chief of surgery after 143 days of experience of being a surgeon.

You couldn't get a job as a teacher and be the principal after 143 days of experience.

You couldn't join the military and become a general after a 143 days of experience.

You couldn't get a job as a reporter and become the nightly news anchor after 143 days of experience.

But...

From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United States Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate.

That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working!!!

After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief and Leader of the Free World .... 143 days.

We all have to start somewhere. The Senate is a good start, but after 143 days, that's all it is - a start.

AND, strangely, a large sector of the American public is okay with this and campaigning for him. We wouldn't accept this in our own line of work, yet some are okay with this for the President of the United States of America?

Come on folks, we are not voting for the next American Idol!

I was offered a management position at Hardees after I was there for a week. This was back when I was 18, I'm just saying. ;)

If...by some miraculous chance (along with continued voter fraud from ACORN) he is elected President, I imagine he'll be Impeached and then removed soon after before his first term is up...and if he does make it through his first term without being convicted of "High Crimes and Misdemeanors", he'll surely never be re-elected to a 2nd term. 8 years, I'm not concerned about. It's the suffering WE ALL will go through, beginning when he takes office. However, I intend to do every thing I can to see to it that he works himself into a managerial position at Hardees:D

If he's elected I doubt he'll be impeached. For one thing, no one will be able to criticize him for fear of being tossed in jail...

Considering your background with Hardees, Emanuel, you're probably more qualified than Obama.

Sad thing is the election is his to lose. I am amazed at how many people won't look at who he really is, or what he stands for (or against). Its like they are scared to call a spade a spade for being labeled racist. Canada is lokkin better an better.

Emanual, I like you man, you seem like a cool dude and I like to hear story's about you screwing with online predators, but when I read your quote above it made me think you might not want to gloat too much about a potential Obama presidency. He still has to get elected. He still has to establish his cabinet. He's still got everything to do, and for someone with little experience (depending on an individuals definition of 'experience'), Obama has got a very long way to go. Counting on 8 years of him is a bit much at this time, IMHO.

disclaimer: My true candidate for the 2008 election does not exist so for others that will not take my comments for face value, don't shove any party-line sentiments my direction.
