If you purchased $1000 of AIG stock 1 year ago, you have about $42 now
$1000 of Lehman Brothers.......... $6.60
$1000 of Fannie or Freddie.......... less than $5
BUT, if you purchased $1000 of beer a year ago, drank it all, then recycled the cans, you would have about $214 :beer:
