Like I always say, the stock market is no guarantee to financial stability. However, when used correctly it opens doors. Taking that option from workers is beyond retarded. I would place it in the super retarded category. Id take my chances to win or lose rather than have a flat 3% guaranteed return, and I am sure most of you would do the same. My other question is, where is this 3% coming from? Govt money? From where? New taxes? On who?

I, for one, refuse to submit quietly. Obama, who has never run anything but his mouth, has been suddenly thrust into the most important executive position in the world. He will surround himself with advisors, most of whom are failed left-wing retreads from the past, egged on by the young Turks from the left, who think only politics, political correctness, and either have no understanding of, or more likely choose to disregard, basic economics. We owe it to the Democrats to show their President exactly the same kind of respect, loyalty, consideration, and bi-partisan cooperation that THEY have shown our current Republican President since the day he first took office in 2000. We must never submit to socialism, whatever it takes. All's fair...
Note that the media is already backtracking, and trying to lower expectations.

That IS the funny thing about Obama's cabinet, eh? Here he is, bringing 'CHANGE!' to America, and who makes up most of his cabinet? Old Clinton appointees. Yep. That's the way to stop doing things the old way alright; great job getting away from the Washington insiders.
On an unrelated note, a joke I just heard...
"Obama's family is still trying to decide on a name for their new dog, Rex if it's a boy. Hillary if it's a *****"

Q. Won’t my employer drop coverage?
A. No. Employers who do not offer meaningful coverage to their employees will have to
contribute a percentage of their payroll to help offset the cost of providing coverage to all
Americans. In most cases, this will eliminate an employer’s incentive to drop coverage.
Some small employers will be exempt from this requirement.
sounds like socialism to me
