I had two brothers in Viet Nam before I was old enough to say their names. By the grace of God, they both came back alive. I know what they've told me they went through, and I couldn't be more proud of them. I grew up in a time of cold war and generally peaceful times and going into the military was not mandatory. You guy's and ladies, are awesome! Again, thank you for your service!

Salute to all the Vets. They are dedicating the new Kingsport Veterans Memorial today at 11 this morning and I hope to attend. Im sure it will be impressive since the price tag came in at over $800,000 so im excited to see it first hand. My father served during Korea and I wish he was still alive so we could go together. Thanks again for you Veterans service not only today but everyday. Here is to you

Definately a Big Thank You to all the vets out there!

It's an even more special day for me and my family. My mom received a call from my younger brother 2 days ago. He is on his way back home after his second tour in Iraq. He is now in Kuwait waiting on the equipment to arrive so they can get it decontaminated and loaded on the boat for the journey home. He was supposed to retire, but he got caught up in the last round of deployments and went to Iraq for 15 months. He's already re-submitted his retirement papers and should be out of the Army sometime early next year. After 20+ yrs, he can finally get his family settled and not have to worry about moving every 3-4yrs.

Hey Topsail,
when your brother gets home, take him fishing
and get a few cold beers as well,

God will watch over him and he will be home safe and sound
