With everything that I am doing to get ready for wife's surgury. She asked me to get something for myself. I splurged and bought a Wii and a fishing game. Got two controllers, two namchuks and a fishing rod with the game.

Will set it up this weekend.

This is new for me as I have never bought anything like this for myself.

The nintendo wii is a pretty cool console. My brother in law has one. I played it last time I was down there and really liked it. If you have kids or grandkids their going to love it! If I had the extra cash and played games a bit more, I'd definitely buy one. I have a playstation 2 now that I never use. In my "old age"(26) I've realized I've become lazy when it comes to video games. I'd get a game, make it to the first "difficult" level, then lay it down and never touch it again.

That's pretty cool! My two older sons (18-17) play ALL the time, and the wii is their favorite console by far. They've got a PS3 they play with but I see them on the wii most often.

Sounds like a pretty awesome lady there! I know you'll take good care of her. Best of luck with her surgery and I hope she mends quickly. When you want to vent, we're still here.

Yep, just got Boss Dogg hers. She wanted one for x-mas but I worked some extra OT and got it sooner. She's playin it as I type.

I like the wii, its pretty fun. Plus you got the fishing rod. I dont have one, let us know how you like it.

I hope the fishing game you got for the wii is Rapala fishing frenzy cause none of the other fishing games for the wii are good except fishing master but this game may just be too basic for many but its still a fun family fishing game

It is fishing frenzy.. Man at the store picked it out for me.
