Is all the juice the same?
Can like colors be stored in the same container?
Will the colors bleed?

I havent had a problem with colors running. I keep the shrimp and curly taik shiners together in the same container. All colors with no problems.

All of the gulp have the same sent, you can mix the colors, no problem, just don't put any other plastic in the gulp juice, it will fad.

I have not had a problem with the colors running, but out of old habits I do keep the white baits totally separate.
Not sure that is necessary as the whites will yellow as they get older, but that's just me.

I have a question here as well - not trying to hijack, but related to Gulp
I just picked up the 32 oz "jars" of new penny shrimp and one of peelers. I have a sackful of other Gulp baits (shrimp and peelers), but they are in the packages. From reading here on this forum, I learned not to put used baits back in the same package as as the unused ones. What I'm wondering is if I use the baits in the jars first, can I put the ones from the packages into the jars or will that mess anything up???? I've only used Gulp for two years and have never bought the jars before and didn't know.
I'm guessing from tuna's reply that I can put them in there if they're all the same, but I wanted to be sure.
Thanks,
AJ

that should be fine, the deal witht he packages is that you dont wanna get outside smells from the used one onto the new ones, but bein that those jars are full of the scent oil anyway, it shouldnt matter, the oil has anise in it which helps to mask any outside smells

Hi guys, here is 3 different posts from Mickey who works for Purefishing. I grabbed these from another site I visit. It may help to answer some questions.
I can tell you a few things about the Gulp! Alive! buckets vs. the Gulp! in the bags. Alive! has 30% better action than regular Gulp! and it holds 20% more scent because it's constantly absorbing so much Gulp! juice. Also, you can re-introduce Gulp! Alive! back into the bucket when you're done fishing with it. It won't destroy the other baits in the bucket.
Sure they smell the same. They all smell like Gulp.
The truth is, there is a difference in the amino acids used depending on which species is targeted with the particular Gulp shape.
There is a base scent that is the same for all saltwater Gulp. Think of it as meat and potatoes for us humans. On top of that we add accented flavors that particular fish species have preference for. In this case, it's like adding seasoning to your meat and potatoes. Different people like different seasonings - different fish like different scents too.
I hope that's clear. It's a question that I've gotten a lot and I finally had to go and ask John Prochnow, the inventor of Gulp!.
Simple answer: PowerBait is plastic, Gulp! is not.
Better answer: PowerBait, since it is plastic, can only disperse its petroleum based scent from the limited surface area of the shape of the bait because water cannont penetrate plastic. This is true with all plastic baits.
Gulp! on the other hand is a biodegradable, pourous, material that has a water-based scent that is released not only from the outside parts of the bait but throughout due to its sponge-like composition.
You're welcome to stick your plastic baits in Gulp! Alive! to give them a temporary bump in attractant, but it will quickly wash off of any plastic bait.
I hope that answers your question and the comment that followed
