Just have a pretty easy and quick question, what are your favorite bucktail weights and colors for stripers? If you have more than one that's fine.

This is what I use for Stripers when I go down to California.
I also use a chartreuse split tail at times.

Yeah,I use the 3oz mahat in chartreuse for stripers as well as the white..
3oz is close to a perfect size to keep in your box.. You can launch it from the beach or jetty.. Or verticle jig it from the boat for wreckfish,or launch it from the boat for cobes, drum,or stripers.. Imho a 3oz arrowhead jig is pretty dern versitile..
I've had luck from the beach with a white 2 ounce. Second choice would be charteuse.

Chartreuse and White these are the only colors you need. Depending on where and what type of fishing you are doing will depend on the weight of the bucktail. I like eiter a 6" or an 8" twister grub in either Chartreuse or White depending on the color of the bucktail being used. Also the Gulps work good.
