I will be getting a new setup soon, will be used for catching bait, catching small fish and for some small macks and stuff like that! It will be paired with a sargus sg3000! Now my question is how do these rods hold up? Do they have good action? Do they have good flex? Thanks guys!:fishing:

The new Penn Slammers are good rods. I have a couple and they hold up well.
You might also look at the Ande Tournament and Quantum Blue Runner rods at about the same price point, maybe a little less.
The graphite offers a stiffer action, but I know you like braid and it might be too much stiffness for smaller fish like macks and whiting.
