I want to get one 10/11'6'' long I plan to cast 1 or 3 oz baits probably a spinner reel. I have looked at brands like Tica,Tsunami or St. Croix but im wondering which is a better quality.

What's your price range? There's a big difference in Tsunami and St Croix.

If you have the money, look at the Lami Ron Arra or Super Surf rods.
Lots of people like the Loomis 1266, too.

Bloodworm check your PMs.
10 ft ain't too long if it's the right rod; one maker's 10 footer is like another's 8 . .
A high quality, high modulus graphite (thin wall) rod at 10' will weigh nothing (St Croix spinner rated for 3/4 - 4 ozs weighs 13 ounces (PSRS100M2)) and will balance with a reel that is suitable for handling a decent fish in an inlet current.
Another thing is it is easier to lift a fish or bring it to net with a longer rod (unless you like scrambling down on the slimy rocks).
A quality 10 footer is a perfect compromise for jetty work.
