Well, as some of you may or may not know, Ive pretty well taken on my better half's 3 children as my own. There's nothing to not love about them. It wasn't in the cards for me to have a biological child of my own, as the one that I have found to be with the rest of my life, had her tubes tied. It is reversable, however, the apparently the procedure didn't NEED to be reversed .

Well as things happened, apparently her tubes didn't need to be untied (which had we decided to go on and have a 4th child, we would have had gotten surgery for her).

Delaney Katherine will be born on June 8th, 2009. C section. Doctor said everything looked great on the ultra sound. Good heart beat and organ development. Weighs approx 13oz. We first found out that "Baby K" was to be, back in October, and first found out that "Baby K" was a girl this morning at approx 8:40am. Im excited as can be! I've been praying to God to help keep me fair with the other 3 kids as well, and to not play favorites, and be fair, though everyone seems to think since this one is biologically mine, it wont happen. Other than the normal baby attention, I think I can do it!

Congrats, Treed! She'll be as different as each of your other children... with things that will challenge and perplex you and things that will make her uniquely dear. I don't think that you'll treat her any differently... because you've already elevated the other children to the status of "your kids"...

That's better idea Redneck. Might have to tie 'em off to a sanspike or something though.

Treed,

I am sure you will have no problems at all. My buddy had a similar experience. His wife had 4 kids and then they had one together.

I asked him if he treated his child any different than the others. He said, Nope I beat them all the same.:D He was kidding of course.

lol.....Al,

Well statistics show that white males may not be as suited to 'breed' as African American males, but Im also aware that statistics show that white males fish with longer poles than Asains.......Ive never done a side by side comparison though, where's Shooter when ya need to know?

J/K of course, Thanks for the congrats Al....as well as the rest of you. Thanks for the insight. It's a great feeling going from "Justin" to "Daddy" from those kids, and being away from home for a workshop and calling and hearing "When are you coming back home daddy?"

Congrats on the pending arrival. I'll tell ya about surgeries and proceedures. My mother was told that she could not have kids as it was physically impossible and my father was cut. When they found about me, my mother was 3 months along. Sometimes ya just nevr know. Congrats again.
