was on t.v. today. Some sort of marathon. A really good show, but they did something on the show today I was totally unaware even existed. On the episode, they put what I think was a coffee can of stuff on the hood of a classic Pontiac GTO and lit it off. THe contents of the can was called "Thermite" and as it burned, it proceeded to eat through the hood and all the way through the engine block!

So I'm thinking it was just some Hollywood garbage and then I googled it! This stuff is real and not at all hard to make in your garage. Now I'm looking for an old engine..... I'll keep you posted!

If ya want to see some real fun go find ya a old Mag wheel,, it has to be old, then use a cutting torch to set it on fire and now comes the fun,,, toss some water on it  yea I use to be a vol. fire fighter and one day we showed up to a car fire and the rookie grabed the hose and WOOSH ,,, magnesium once it starts burning creates it's own oxygen and all water does it makes for some haillaous fireworks :D needless to say the Vet. was a total loss

yes the stuff is real we have grenades used to distroy equipment that are the same thing. The Military has had them for years. Most of explosives and such could be made from the home just to let you know can get you ina little trouble making it in your house. You might want to check local ordanance Laws and Such and some of the stuff they use are listed material.
