I've done it here several time but tonight I'm not having any luck ... I've resized it and it's a jpeg image but I keep getting ....
Fatal error: Call to undefined function ImageCreateFromJpeg() in /home/pierands/public_html/photopost/image-inc.php on line 84
Does anybody know what's going on

I had the same problem trying to post some pictures for somebody else. Never had that particular problem with any other pictures. If you figure it out let me know.

EDIT: Interesting. It let me upload and attach a pic from my computer, and the embedding from the P&S galleries worked fine.
But if I tried to attach a file from the gallery it said the maximum picture size is "600 x 0 pixels" and my picture, at 600 x 800, was too large.

I use photo bucket for most of my photo's... 600X800 size works for me without blowing the frame out of proportion... I hate to have to scroll back and forth to look at a picture or read a post...

I used photobucket when I had that problem. I was trying to post pics for Nemisis. I've never had that particular problem trying to post any other pics.

it's not going to let you because the max height is set at 0....take a good look at the popup window...max width 600 max height 0...it's looking for a pic that is 600x0....no such thing

I caught that too. I believe the server that is hosting this forum is having issues of some sort. Haven't tried lately, but tried posting something in open forum for days to no avail. However was able to post in the distance casting section, and no problems with replies.
Hey kingfisherman23, If your offering up a pic of a new rig, I'll say I see a major flaw with the one in your pic.
NO BAIT :D

You can post from your pc, but only as an attachment (small thumbnails)
otherwise they must be downloaded as Rockfish said.
Try uploading a pic to tinypics.com or photobucket and see if you can link to a thread hear, Make sure to resize for message boards and forums. Or you can load your pic from your pc to your pic album here on P&S an then post it in a thread.
It is quite confusing at first to post pics on this forums format. If you search posting pics in the search archives thread, you'll see it's a common question.

if you look at my photo album you will see 4 plus pages of pics where I have posted them the same way
I resize the pics to 800-600 and save them . next I click on the fishing pic's link at the top of the page and click upload photo's just like always ... hit browse and go to the proper picture and double click on it .... and hit upload and then get that stupid error message .... once I put them in an album and want to post one in a thread I right click and go to properties and copy the url address and lastly click insert image and paste the url

Man, I am screwing the pooch right and left here.
Uploading into threads is fixed, but I'm still working on the gallery. Give me a sec to figure it out.

LOL Racewire.
I was about to post up a reply asking what was wrong with it. Missed the red words. :p:p:p
Not trying to reinvent the wheel, just testing photo posting. That was the skate (Shark Bait) rig from October.
