I'm just wondering if any of you guys are as big a fans as I am of this show on the Sci-Fi Channel? They have some strange stuff on there! Is it real??? Do they really exist??? Personally, I think they do!

I would watch the show but every time I see a preview it looks so staged and
phony that I start laughing.

Yeah, I can't watch shows like that. I think I'd have to be doing some heavy drugs or something to make it interesting...

That show's a crock. Not saying ghosts aren't real but this gets to me.
"OMG did you feel that??"
"Oh what was that???"
"OH wow it's cold over here (in this old drafty building in the middle of the night)!!"

Oh my it's HOT over here.......oh wait, thats the radiator heater in this cold drafty ghost infested building. Never understood why they only come out at night as well.
I mean chit...if I were a "ghost"...Id be out in full force F'ing with people in the day time.
Closing laptops on peoples desks, sliding coffee cups across the desk, lifting young ladies' skirts up and givin em a little tickle, sitting in the dressing room at Victoria Secret or VIP room in the nudie bar. Thats the ghost Id be!
Come on, an old, drafty, decreptid building that fruit cakes come to once every 3 months to smoke pot and look for you? Nahhhh.

I dont understand how a spirit produces a "cold spot". Then they take a temp reading and its dropping a degree a second. Well how does the infared heat camera catch a "hot" "cold" ghost? It seems to contradict the whole idea of ghost being cold. When they see an apparition on the infrared it is registering as hot.

OK, I think this must have been the show I got confused. Someone told me this was a decent show, but I think I wound up watching The Ghost *Whisperer* instead. I didn't like that one.
I haven't watched it, sprts.
I did the same thing a few years back. Several people told me that *American Beauty* was a good flick and was pretty intense. I was half-a$$ listening to them, I guess, because I went out and rented *American Pie* instead. True story. :D

OK...OK...OK...I hear you guys...HOWEVER! Most of the time, they "debunk" a lot of the claims, BUT...They have photographed picture frames moving on a table, chairs moving etc. 90% of the time, they tell the owners/managers that they can't find evidence (i.e. the temp changes themselves are not evidence) but there are a few occasions where there are several "unexplained" circumstances that leave me a little puzzled. Actually, I wouldn't mind joining those guys in an investigation...although it would have to be in the daytime. Can you imagine??? "OK guys, it's almost noon...lets set up. Anyone find anything?" Six hour later..."OK, it's almost dark, lets tear down and see what we have!...Nothing? Gee, wonder why? Well, let's head back to Rhode Island! We have some "Roto-Rooter" stuff to do. Mrs. O'Leary's toilet is stoped up!" LOL! The only thing I can say is that if you watch it on a regular basis, you'll see some things you can't explain, which will leave some doubt. It comes on every Wednesday evening, beginning at 7 PM on Sci Fi, and runs until about 10 or 11 PM, depending on programming. After all guys, the "dramas" you see are ALL FAKE...never happened and are not based on anything REAL. At least this one attempts to show actual stuff. Besides...when I go...I'm going to come back and HAUNT you ALL, LOL!!!

I have seen a couple of episodes that had some serious manifestation of paranormal incidents. I would site the episode that caused one of the team to quit. He was knocked to the floor and something sat on his chest. There was also one at an old plantation with figures observed peeking in doors and running across the grounds..............

In all the years I have fished point lookout park, I have talked to 3 different DNR Rangers who had been stationed down there for many years, and they told me 3 stories that would freak out a dead person. I talked tohe old ladies who ran Sisters Place inside point Lookout State Park, baack in the late 90s, and they told me how many times over the years, things were moved inside their store all day long for years. Rick, at Ricks Marine down there told me he had never had any experiences, and he lived there too.
At Gettysburg Battlefield, I have taken many rolls of film of the battlefield, since I am a avid CW nut, and Ihave never had anyone explain to me why my shots at the Devils Den always come up double exposed. I talked with Mark Nesbit about it up there one year. he has written 3 books on the Ghosts of Gettysburg, and explained to me that lots of people have had their shots at the devils den double exposed, and that the entire area up there is filled with ghost stories.
If anyone is interested, I will respond to the specific stories I was Told, down at point lookout state park. What I was told is really freaky..

I've heard this elsewhere, Steve. We went to Gettysburg on July 3, 1996 and walked Trimble's "middle" route toward the Angle on BRT. That's the only time I've been to Gettysburg. I took about five rolls of slides on that trip. When I got home, I found that my slide projector was broken. I've never gotten it fixed, so I haven't seen my slides yet! In short, I don't know if my pictures of Devil's Den are double-exposed or not. I took several there and at the Peach Orchard before we went to LRT.
Now I'm going to have to find a slide projector to satisfy my curiosity, Steve. :)

You just try and come and haut me Pal, I got my garlic and Holy Water waitin for ya.:D:D:D
Like larry said they do debunk most of the investigations that they do. Paranormal State on A&E isn't too bad either. Kinda the same thing.
