Came in Cherry, Blackberry, Apple/Cinnamon and regular. Nice and crystal clear. I do have to say that it would some pepper on your a$$. Man I miss that.:(

my uncle, god rest his soul, use to make so exceptional elderberry and dandelion wines. (he died in a car accident on his way fishing, his suburban was hit head on by a small honda(honda crossed center line). everyone in the honda died and my uncle, and his front seat companion both died. his grandson who was laid out in back asleep survived.)

Never met a drink like that, possibly some white lighting, the fuel? I got a buddy whos dad makes that stuff and its rough boy! I mean ROUGH! Its the kinds stuff you light on fire and don't even see a flame. Just looks like the dessert, you just see heat. $15 a gallon. I'd still rather have a good 1/5 from the liquor store though. I'm a big fan of that wine there Surfchunker, been to 80% of the 130 wineries in Va. Also hit that Yadkin Valley in NC, they love that sweet stuffin Va/Nc. I need to start making that too as much of it as we drink each night with dinner. Supposed to be real good for you, so I figure the more I drink the healthier I'll feel. Kinda like that buffalo theory. Where are you gettin your fermentables?

I have a buddy that small war thing happend to, the yeast are definatley on their own schedule. SC, how big a batches are you makin? That lemonwine sounds great. Bet it would really take the kick off spicy food. I want to start doihng some wines so I may have get with you about them. I got two ready to bottle. One is an American version on a Newcastle and the other is a high gravity listed below: OG: 1062 / Ready: 2 months

Sipping the end result of our Peat-Smoked Porter kit might remind you of rich, black coffee laced with single-malt Scotch. This is a midnight-black strong porter with an assertive profile: roasty, bitter, and big with underlying herbal, briny smoke character. Caramel malts emphasize the full body and bring a bit of balancing sweetness. This beer is a great wintertime nightcap and adds an interesting dimension to barbeque.

Also gotta woomword ale ready, I only did a 8 pack though. Its got absinthe in it, they just legalized it again in the states a couple months ago. Supposed to be highly annebriating and psychotropic. Should be intersting, hope its not too astringent/dry. Did it with a Newcastle base, no hops using the wormwood as a preserver.

Yep it was kinda smooth if ya sipped it or shot it but if ya left it linger around it was rough. Our "distributor" at the time used several different ground shipping compainies for delivery, hence the long vacation. Nothing going to the local delivery company and having package fall off the counter. Ooooppppsssssie!!!!!!!!!!!!

PM me if you have any questions

I've never done any beer so that's all new to me

Can't remember the name of it, but I used to drink a beer that had a jalepeno pepper in the bottle. Can't even remember where it was made, but probably Texas. Had a nice heat to it.

My father used to make homebrew and also made grape wine from kool-aid. Had the "war thing" going on one morning about 2 AM. The beer was stored in the basement under my sister's bedroom floor. When the tops started popping off, my sister woke up screaming that someone was trying to break in. Dad got up, grabbed the gun, and went out the door in his underwear! Sure was a funny sight!!!

I made one batch once...tasted pretty good too. It was a dark ale, and pretty potent. Lived in an apartment at the time, so not much room, and never made any more. There is a homebrew supply store near me, so I may have to give it a shot again. May try the wine thing as well.

tomato and jalepeno.....turns me inside out thinking about DRINKIN something flavor thatd way.......to each their own.

Last time I had home brew, I woke up to birds chirpin and squirrels playing joyful above my head, as if to mock me. Bread stuck to the roof of my mouth and paper towels around my neck. Course that's what I finished with, after my 1/5th of Jim was gone :(

I've never brewed anything like that but there afre recipes for it. I do have some wine that called Devils Spit thats brewed with 35 different peppers. Talk about a sippin wine! Actually, its only good for cooking, its more less a novelty thing to say to your friends "Here, try this" lol. SC, I found a bottle of white wine concentrate that Norther Brewer shipped me by accident. May have to pm youto see if there is anything I can do with it.

I have 6 gal's of grape bubbling now. I use the Lalvin EC-1118 wine yeast that ferments out @ 18% = 36 proof. Its still working hard after 3 plus weeks.
