View Full Version : What rod for an Avet sx mc?

I have an Avet sx mc reel on the way and I am looking for a new surf rod to put it on. I have an OM lite rod that I can use but I am open to all suggestions. I would like to keep the price of the rod under $300. Thanks.

Hey Paul, To be honest with you niether one are any good, the avet or the OC but being the nice guy that I am I'll give you like $50 for the pair to save you the headache:D:D:D LOL.

No all kidding aside the OC would be a good rod, either that or a 12' Tsunami trophy series($150) would be a good choice. I have several 11' & 12' in conv and I love mine great rods for the price.
