Lotion, something that will moisturize your skin and keep you from leaving a trail of dead skin wherever you go.
My new best friends are longsleeve tshirts and Bullfrog SPF 45 sunblock.

been trying to use lotion and aloe vera, clear kind, but every time i slather some on, it starts burning, like someone dumping grease fresh off the fryer on me. so back to the shower i go to rinse it off as fast as i can. yeah i think im just gonna have to get used to the fact that i will always look like im wearing a white undershirt when i take my shirt off.

Better than melanoma.
I used to almost never wear sunblock when I lived in Virginia and rarely got sunburned (part Spanish). When I moved down here to Florida, I realized that the sun is a bit more intense here.

The cool beads type of sun burn lotions work good and feel great when applied to sun burn. Like emanuel said cover up. I really like the new spray on sun screens especially when fishing, cause you don't have to get it on your hands. The blotter, spot sun screens are awesome too for ears, nose and lips.

Get some lotion with ladicaine (topical pain reliever) in it. Lather it on thick and repeat...

once a burn....always a burn potential. don't have a good tip on relief. will say u “need” to use sunscreen for the rest of this year because the damaged area is gonna be real sensitive to even minimal sun exposure. some discomfort as well as a probable repeat sunburn in that same area is likely.
i do speak from experience.
