AFAW blanks

Anyone here know how much the big beach and the beach blanks weigh??? Also what are the butt diameters? I have looked all over and havent had any luck at all.

You dont want one. Theyre the latest and greatest fad. People only want em because some of their long casting idols use them. Better blanks out there with better service for less money. Junk. Dont waste your money.

I got ya, a friend of mine wants me to build him a big beach, I just wanted to find out how much it weighed. At 14' I figured it would be almost as heavy as one of those wri anchors.

If he doesn't have one on hand, I can weigh my big beach and get back to you, mine's built- but without a reel seat, will get you in the ball park.

I have already bugged Tommy enough, figured someone here would know. Yeah, Surf Cat, all im lookin for is a general idea, and what size reel seat it will take.

Don't mean to sound like I'm new at this, but I am. What does "blanks" mean? I keep seeing it posted here and there but I'm clueless as to its meaning. Is it just a model?
