Hello,
I'm new to this site. Just found it last night while searching for surf fishing and pier fishing tips. My wife and I live in the Albany, NY area and visit Surfside Beach every May. While there I surf and pier fish as much as possible. Never really caught a vast amount of fish but always had fun. NO WORK etc......... The water temps look warmer this time of year there than usual. What type of fish will be hitting as the water warms up??? I use spinning reels and long poles to try and get the fish to me. Met some nice local people at the pier and surf. "The Pier" and Springmaid are the ones I fish. Springmaid closer to where we stay but heard good things about "The Pier". I'll try not and badger you too much. Just need sound advice on tatics and bait. No need to know your hot-spot. Thanks for any help you can give me................
Kim
PS- Staying May 16-24.
