Wiley X Sunglasses???

Well, I just stopped by bass pro shop and dropped some $$$$$. I was looking for some cheap sunglasses, as when I fish offshore there are alot of ways to lose sunglasses while running the spread, gaffing fish, etc.. Well, I get in there and as usual I was talked into spending more money.:rolleyes: I dropped 130 something on a pair of Wiley X sunglasses. Mine have the little "foam" insert things like goggles to stop water from coming in, and a strap to keep them tight to my head if I need to. I also dropped a hundred bucks on a pair of Sperry Top Sider boat shoes!!!! They left the damn anti-theft, ink tag on the damn things!!!! Luckily I was able to take it off with the cutters on my crimping pliers. Then I dropped another hundred on snacks, food, and good beer for my fishing trip this weekend... So I've got 3-4 hundred blown today, and I still have to put my share of gas in a boat for three days of offshore fishing this weekend!!:eek: Leaving tomorrow morning and coming back Tuesday morning. I sure do hope I have a good fish story for you guys on Tuesday..:cool::D

Anyway.. Does anybody have a pair of Wiley X sunglasses, and if so, how do you like them?

I have a pair that I won a couple years back in a raffle. I also have a pair of polarized Smith glasses. I like both. The Smith fit better on my head but the Wiley X feel better on my eyes. Check out their site... looks like they make goggles and such for the military...

I have the Wiley X Blink model in black. Had them for nearly 3 years now and still like new. Not sure what is new about the Blinks as their website says, but that models been out for quite a while now. Very good purchase.

ive had a few different pairs issued to me and they are great! i bought a pair of oakley M frames while i was in iraq in 05, and i wear both the oaks and X and at times i dont notice half the time what ones i got on. enjoy em!

At the dollar store you can get polarized, 100% UV protection and a strap for your glasses for $2.00 and some change. Spend the rest on the important stuff - tackle, beer and women.
