What's up anglers, I need your help. I am looking for a light surf spinning rod between 11 and 12 feet. which do you think performs better the airwave or the emcast rod. All help is appriciated. Tight lines:D

I would have to say from personal experience Tsunami, they haven’t let me down yet, though Diawa makes an equally nice rod. I don’t have an airwave but I want one lol!

If you're looking for a lure rod I would say the Tsumani... I had the 10ft version and it did well for lures in the 2oz range.. Not enough backbone for bait fishing in my opinion..

They are both just as good. You cannot go wrong with either one of them. Just make sure you water them down after each trip on the sand.

What reel are you using? I always try to take the reel, go down to the local tackle shop, and see which feels better for the intended fishing application i.e. lures, bait, or both. IMO I would go with the Diawa over the Tsunami though just because I'm more familiar with the Daiwa.
