Just thought I'd share my catch tonight with ya'll. First night surf fishing expedition and came out real good! All in all 4 specks(keepers), 1 Little speck(released), small hammerhead, 3 ladyfish, and one catfish. Anyways thought I'd share! Cheers!

Thanks I appreciate it, really is a wealth of info here with great people standing in the wings to answer questions. And haha ya been surf fishing for like a whole 3 months :) Definitely some good eats, like over 5 pounds of fillets from the four fish. Hehehehe Its really something to stand out there and have to really use that knowledge. I've caught more fish in the last 3 months than the rest of my life combined. Oh and caught 'em on shrimp. Why shrimp? Because that's all I know how to fish with hahahahaha.....

Try frying those filets after dipping them in a Cajun style breading. Talk about good, mmmmmm!!! I haven't eaten a trout in quite some time, I may have to go catch some next week out of a kayak.

Agreed on Cajun style. Freaking delicious and still have more in the freezer :)
