Somewhere I've never been, I'd love to try something off the Mexican shore or Gulf Coast. Wouldn't really care what I reeled in, just a place I've never done.

I'm thinking New Zealand, it just looks amazing and has some of the best fish in the world, in my opinion. Got to love some Roughy.

my favorite fishing day (night) of the year, especially if its foggy on the full of the moon, and a couple of friends along soaking big bait. Every once and a while you just may glimpse spirits of long ago casting out into the night , or battling a big one through the surf. It doesn't happen every year ,but when it does.....

Especially Hilo, we have a boat load (pardon the pun), of fish that can be caught. I think my bruddah Al Kai can back me up on this one...........we have........

Ahi--Yellow fin tuna
Ahi palaha--Albacore
Aku-Skipjack tuna
Aweoweo--Big eye tuna
Kahala-Amberjack
Ono--Wahoo(my favorite)
Opakapaka--Pink Snapper

These are just a few. Now that I have made myself homesick, I'm gonna have to make some calls home.
