What type of "Bull Dog " is it? Pit Bull? English Bull Dog? American Bull Dog? As a former k-9 handler, my personal thoughts are an aggressive pit is not much good for anything. Some pits are as doclie and friendly as a kitten and others.... a powder keg. ENglish and American bulls are known to be protective towards their masters, but with some patience can be trained to let others in to their circle of friends. Has the bull ever gone after the Jacks in an aggressive way? That can spell disaster if not nipped in the bud quickly.
AS for your wife being mean to the other dogs, she's feeling a loss in giving up the bull dog. I would guess in time she'll come around. I do know of two options I would consider trying to speed this up a bit. We used to use a Tritronic multiple setting shock collar on dogs who showed excessive aggression towards other dogs. I don't see why it wouldn't work attached to the Mrs. She gets mean to the Jacks...ZZZaaaapppppppp!!!!!! On the other hand, if she is feeling separation issues from the bull dog, send her to the rents too for a while. She'll get the picture pretty quickly!

It is an english bully and has attacked my jackrussell over 20 times. She has bit a hole through his paw. cut his face. put holes in his neck and before she got the move to the rents house she would intimidate {sp} him to the point that he would just get on the couch and stay out of her way. We went the route of the shocker but it did not stop the agressive behavior just she would get shoked when she was bad. I think that every day that goes by she will adjust to our new household. Thanks for the input. Scott

Sorry she didn't work out. I've seen that program on t.v. titled "It's me or the dog", and this sounds like a good episode for them. I guess she was just used to the Mrs. (congrats BTW) and doesn't like to share.
