i was wondering, if people could post their recent purchases(fishing) mostly and maybe a pic. of what it was they recently bought. possibly add to it a product review of some sort could help people who ask the questions 'what type of ***** should i buy'...definitely have a cap on the price for posting of say 500.00 since we arent all rich and maybe just dont care what kinda hybrib you got from some school teacher back in miniappolis..i had seen something simular on another website where they posted music type stuff and it had a good response..since some of you reel enthusist fish all the time this could be benificial to some of us lesser fishermen/women. i'd like to see some cool stuff that's not only fishing related but mostly rod/reel, lures, setups and whatnots....i'd like to hear from you guys who are on here quite often before i or someone else starts this thread and what you think...under 500.00.

Some recent purchases of mine:
A little portable hand truck over on e-bay called a Magna Cart. I got it for less than 40 bucks shipped (delivered in two days). The wheels and base fold in, and it's only about 22 inches by 2 inches by about 8-10 inches when "flat" (will hang on a nail in the garage no problem for storage). It has a capacity of 150 lbs. I took bungees and used it as a pier cart and it held one of the big Ice Cube coolers, a large tackle box, my collapsible pier net and a smaller cooler/backpack no problemo. We have a small SUV, so I had to consider space when it came to getting a cart to haul our gear to the pier. Now, it would not be worth 5 cents in the surf, because of the little plastic wheels, but it's ideal for the pier.
As for reels, I've only picked up two recently - both on the marketplace - and I got really good deals on them - a BG20 and a Slammer 560. I'm very satisfied with those purchases - less than $120 for both in excellent shape. Before I buy anything in the future, I'm going to be patient and keep my eyes on the marketplace.
Computer item: A Seagate Free Agent portable hard drive - 500 Gigs - shopped around and got it for around 80 bucks shipped. It's cooler than Santa Claus.
