Can't Remember S**T
Ok everyone, how many of us have it? How many of us will admit to having it?
Ok, I'll go first. Yep I have it.....BAD. Here's how I know..........
I have been on vacation for the past two weeks from my fulltime job cause I needed a break. Anyway, I hit the rack early last night cause I'm due in for dayshift at 7 am. I get up at 6am, gives me time to get back into the swing of things, run to Wawa and get to work. While at the Wawa i run into a relief dispatcher. We exchange good mornings and I tell him I'm on my way in to work. He says, "that's funny cause I'm working for YOU today and tomorrow." Well we get to work and when My Lt comes in...sure enough I'm still on vacation til Friday!!!!!!!:eek: I'm tellin ya folks I'd forget my a$$ if it wasn't attatched!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek: Guess I'll go fishin and clear my mind............Tight lines.

Well.......... I went to Rudee Inlet last friday. There was a newbie kayak fisherman preparing for his 1st ever venture into the dark side. He was asking me a million questions, and after 15 minutes or so ...of explaining things, I decided........OK I'll paddle out with the guy and show him the ropes.
I set the guy up with bungie's and got his crate secured. I then showed him how the paddle clips worked. I then showed him how to secure his lip gripper and a alternate way of keeping a lure box secured near his console.
We were all set to launch.................
And I forgot me Fricken paddle!!!!!!!! (still a newb)

Make it four.
I finally got to the point that I was making lists before I go to the store or out to run errands.
Now I lose the list half the time.

Sounds like your Job scared or really like your Job!
For those of us whom are not farmilliar with "WAWA" even though it sounds like it ....it is not a Baby store.
Dont think there are any south of the mason Dixon line.
Kinda like a 7-11 but nicer than your local Hadjee Mart.

CRS is real, Dogg I feel your pain Buddy. Walked out of the house the other morning with out my keys, wallet or anything. Oh yeah, locked the door on the way out. Cell phone inside the locked car. Standing in the front yard trying to figure out what to do. Finally gave up, called myself a D A , and beat on the door until they woke up and let me in. All this at 4 in the morning.

I can't remember anything ever. It is a great source of amusement for my kids. For example once I needed some WD-40 and couldn't remember the brand name. I asked my son for some SR-22. When he finally figured out that I meant WD-40, he laughed for about an hour.

Sometimes I will do that with my wife. I will just call out what ever name comes to mind and then look at her likes SHE'S crazy for not knowing what I meant. LMAO (please allow me to CLARIFY, I will call out a random name for a product!, Not just a random woman's name:eek:)
If I don't make a list at the beginning of the day of things I need to accomplish or reminder dates, I am in trouble. I have found a great tool though. Not trying to plug anything in particular but....
Yahoo mail has a feature that allows you to mark a calender with events coming up. Great aunt Gertrude's B-day, and that Dr. appt next week as well. You can set it up to email you AND send yourself text messages automatically. Now, when I have an appt or something I need to remember, I put it in my yahoo calender and then get yahoo to text me the day it is supposed to happen. I get it to email me a few days in advance so I don't forget.

Been there, done that, more than once. Spare house key in wallet works wonders. Just gotta remember wallet. Gotten into the habit of putting everything from my pockets in one pile before I remove my pants the night before and it's all in one spot. Notes posted on back door at eye level works too.

Yeah, pocket contents in a pile along with my wallet with a spare key, all laying on dresser.
The doctor told me to take some pill to improve my memory, but I can't remember what he called it. Maybe Blinko Rehoba?
