ro-h2o, Don't think anyone is wanting you to leave, It's just most are probably like myself, a little A.D.D..Hell, that's more reading than most books I've read. Honestly if I wanted to know that much about politics, I'd of run for office.
The only thing I want to read is who Obama's replacement will be, and who lynched that stupid Bi$%h NC Governor we have in office.

I thought his posting was very well behaved... he posted new threads and kept his opinions in those threads. No one is required to read them if they don't want to.
On some boards there are individuals who hijack most every thread and turn it into a one-sided personal opinion diatribe.
We are fortunate to not have that... and ro-h2o was NOT doing that.
I hope he will stay.

I think Obama might argue that it's pretty much been a one-sided personal attack.. ;)
But yeah, I agree, no need to run off, agree with others also, don't need to be hit over the head with it to "get" his position.

Didn't mind the posts, it's just there were soooooooooooooooooooo many new threads. If I wanted all of that I'd go to foxnews.com...

If he would give a synopsis, or personal opinion based on an article he read with a link that we could follow, that would have been one thing. If I wanted to read something cut and pasted, I could go look for the original myself. I checked his posts to see what he had to say and never got it. It is old checking a post expecting to see a persons original thoughts just to find another cut and paste. Once I finally got sick of it, ALL of his posts were annoying to have to filter through to find something worth reading.
If he is dedicated to sharing his opinions and being heard, it would be much more effective if endless cut and paste was not the basis of his posts. They just push people away. I for one was interested at first, then when I saw that EVERY post was just someone else's thoughts, that made me stop wanting to read them.
Just My opinion,

There were a lot of posts without a doubt. He had no problem sharing his opinions on stuff yet he got upset when others shared their opinions of his incessant cutting and pasting.
I think Mark is right in that Obama probably would have thought the threads were all one-sided, but that was just ro-h2o's take on things. If the guy had just put some personal insight into the threads it would have meant more than just pasting them. If you look back on the number of comments made in each thread, he probably averaged less than 1 per post because of the total number he bombed the site with.
The whole idea behind the lounge as I understand it is to have discussions about things other than fishing, but his stuff never amounted to discussions. Folks just got to the point where they weren't even reading them, let alone commenting on them, with the exception of this one. I guess he went out with a bang!

The Lounge Everything but fishing: politics, dumb jokes and inane ramblings. Just keep it polite.
Theres a time and place for everything. Sorry if feelings got hurt... but I didn't see any infractions. Guess its from all the salt, sand and ocean breeze but my skin is on the thick end. Someone pass the aloe and moisturizor.
